Great Union Day



Great Union Day (Romanian: Ziua Marii Uniri, also called Unification Day) occurring on December 1, is the national holiday of Romania. It commemorates the assembly of the delegates of ethnic Romanians held in Alba Iulia, which declared the Union of Transylvania with Romania.

This holiday was set after the 1989 Romanian Revolution and it marks the unification of Transylvania, but also of the provinces of Bessarabia and Bukovina with the Romanian Kingdom, in 1918.

All around the country, the national day is an opportunity to remember The National Gathering that took place in Alba Iulia in 1918 where Romanians from all over the country united, after centuries of struggle.

My romanian school

Calistrat Hogaş High School was founded in 1885 as a private elementary and secondary institute for young women. In 1923, the school became a part of the public education system, and has remained so to the present day. After a period as an industrial high school in the 1980s, the school has focused on arts and sciences, and in particular the study of European languages and literature, since 1991. In 2004, it was awarded the prestigious title of “National High School” in recognition of its high academic standards.
Our vision of becoming our school starts at the current status of the nursery to higher education and outlines obtain superior performance, including those who are certified in training for the free assertion of potential young generation of Romanian and their fulfillment of social, known recognized here and elsewhere.

The smallest children in our school

The smallest children in our school
On 9th September 2009 parents, children and their teacher barbecued for the first class meeting.In the first class there is 15 children and there are 2 classes. At school, they all like reading, counting, they should learn to read by Christmas holiday. Most of the children is from our town and villages in neighborhood.

St. Mikuláš

St. Mikuláš
Mikuláš, Saint patron and friend of children, prisoner, the patron of the good wedding, Bishop and Assistant in distress. Mikuláš became bishop around r. 300 in Myra. Mikuláš festive we celebrate on 5th December. Mikuláš, devil and angel are going in the cities and the village and they are going at the children. Mikuláš wants to children say a poem. Devil is frighten and angel gives some sweets. St. Mikuláš is a tradition in the Czech republic, Slovak republic and Poland. Mikuláš is name in English „Nicolas“.

The 28th October

The 28th October

This day was the Day of the Czech state. Austrian empire was disintegrated. It was founded the Czechoslovakian republic. President of the Czechoslovakian republic was Thomas Garrigue Masaryk. Czechoslovakian republic consisted of Czechia, Moravia, Salesia, Slovakia and Carpatian Russia. State was democratic. Demokracy ended at the beginning of the second Word War.

17nd November
1939- after tuneral of student Jan Opletal on 15nd November, Czech people stayed against German occupation during II. World War. This student was shot by Hitler´s army .Czech universities were closed leaders of university –students were arrested and executed, 1200 Czech students were taken into concentration camps. From 1941 was 17nd November declared in London “international Day” for students.
1989- In Prague peaceful demonstration was against comunism held. Students went to Národní třída (main street) to lit candles. Their procession went by way to St Wenceslas Square, but in was stopped in the National Avenue and police viovently dispersed them.
• Police beated the students a lot. There was protest of students and the public against the Czechoslovakian communist regime, Velvet revolution was started. The fall of the communism establishment and demoncrasy was started.
• The head of the demonstration was Václav Havel – next president.

European day of languages

European day of language

Year 2001 is declared by “European Advice” like European day of language. Since also every year 26th September we celebrate European day of language in 45 member´s countries. Everywhere in Europe people do actions, which try to make people to have encourage in studying of new language or improving their lingual knowledge. Language learning helps not only understand among people, but contributes also to intellectual barriers. In always more globalize company knowing of foreign language means better chance to get job, chance for entering to university, chance for good life in own country and in other part of globe.

My school is Hrochův Týnec. It is a small school. The school is pink. The school consists of two buildings. One small and one big. There are the smallest children in the small building. There are older children in the big building. We are there. At school there is the fashionably eqimpment. It includes from schoolroom, cabinet, dinning-hall,…School makes compention. Our typical school competition is Hrošiáda. It is sport competition. Pupils of our school won several times. There is a school club in the school. School children of the ninth class do school journal. There are schoolchildrens‘ reporters. The skiing course there is too. I enjoy it.

My name is Aida.
I’m 16 year old .I have a special likely for history and rock&roll. Due to the fact that I’m a humanist type, I like to study foreign languages.At the moment I am studying English, French and German. I am keen on Japonese practices like Karuna Reiki and I hope that in the future I wil become a Reiki maester.Some of my hobbies is studying history because I think a people who dosen’t know the history of their own country is like a child who does not know his parents and grammar. In my opinion one cannot learn another language if he is not able to speak correctly in terms his own language.Regarding my favourite music I like glam metal, heavy metal, hard rock and folk. My favourite bands are Bon Jovi, Guns’N’Roses and Aerosmith.
